Using HandeChat
By creating a HandeChat account, you agree to these terms. HandeChat is currently invitation-only: an account can only be created with a valid, unused invitation code.
Acceptable use
Don't use HandeChat to harass, threaten, or impersonate others; to share illegal content; to spam; or to attempt to access another user's account or bypass the app's security. Reported violations are reviewed and may result in a restriction, suspension, or ban of the account involved.
Your content
You retain ownership of the messages, media, and posts you send. You're responsible for having the right to share anything you post. HandeChat needs a license to store and transmit your content in order to deliver the service to the people you send it to.
Coins and gifts
HandeChat includes an internal virtual credit called Coins, usable for in-app gifting during live streams. Coins have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real money, and are not a cryptocurrency or a financial product. Balances and gift-transaction history are recorded permanently as an internal ledger.
Encrypted conversations
Where you turn on end-to-end encryption for a conversation on the HandeChat mobile app, HandeChat cannot read that conversation's content and cannot recover it if a device's local copy is lost. Encrypted conversations are not available on HandeChat Web. See our Privacy Policy for the full technical detail.
Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Security → Delete account. HandeChat may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account that violates these terms, following the moderation process described in our Help page.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
HandeChat is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This section will be finalized with legal review before these terms are treated as binding.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as HandeChat changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
